Privacy at JMR.
We use information to operate jmr.news, review Beta applications, deliver requested match reports and respond to messages. This page explains what we handle and how you can make a request. For questions about your information, contact info@jmr.news.
Who is responsible
JMR is operated by Luca Bruno, who is responsible for the personal information described here. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@jmr.news.
Website visits and external content
When you use JMR, our hosting infrastructure processes technical request information, such as your IP address, the time of a request and the page requested, to deliver and protect the service.
Some JMR pages display team emblems served by Highlightly and video thumbnails served by YouTube. Your browser contacts those services when it loads the images, independently of your Google Analytics choice. Videos do not play inside JMR: selecting a highlight opens YouTube, which then handles your visit under its own privacy policy.
Beta applications and report emails
When you apply for the beta, we collect your email address and declared country of residence. We record your email confirmation, application status, and the time and version of your separate Beta Terms acceptance and request for report emails. We use these details to review applications, manage access and send requested reports. Sign-in, delivery and unsubscribe records help us operate the service and avoid unwanted or duplicate messages. A link to the application form may also contain campaign tags. Your request for beta reports does not authorize paid-offer promotions.
Contact and feedback
If you use the Contact form, we receive the topic you select, your email address and your message. We use them to read and respond to your inquiry, complaint or beta feedback. Basic technical request data helps us operate and protect the form. If you email us directly, we handle that correspondence for the same purposes. Sending a message does not subscribe you to reports or marketing, and we do not add its contents to your subscriber record. Please avoid including sensitive personal information.
Service providers and locations
JMR’s application and database run on a Hostinger server in the United States. Encrypted database backups are stored with Microsoft Azure in the United States. We use Resend to send report and service emails and to forward Contact messages; Resend stores email content and delivery data in the United States. Replies, feedback and privacy requests are handled through an Infomaniak mailbox hosted in Switzerland. People operating JMR access the information needed to manage applications, messages and delivery.
Analytics and your choice
On the public homepage, Google Analytics 4 loads only if you choose “Accept analytics.” It helps us understand visits and which links bring people to JMR. Google may receive page, browser and device information and set analytics cookies; we do not send your email address or form contents. Your choice is saved in this browser for six months. You can reject analytics or change your choice at any time through “Analytics preferences” in the homepage footer. If you withdraw consent, we stop sending further analytics events from that page.
How long we keep information
Beta-only access and report emails end when the reader’s beta period ends. We review beta-only operational records for removal, while preserving any separate active access and records needed to resolve outstanding deliveries. We keep minimal proof of beta report-email choices and unsubscribes for 24 months after the beta ends. We review ordinary Contact conversations and beta feedback for deletion 90 days after the conversation closes. A specific complaint or verified request not to be contacted may require a limited record for longer. Provider recovery copies and encrypted backups can remain available for their configured recovery periods.
We keep operational and audit records needed to investigate errors, protect accounts and document important actions. We set a retention period for each type of record. Where applicable laws require different minimum periods for the same type of record, we use the longest verified minimum for that type across all readers. A specific incident or legal obligation may require a documented longer hold.
Your information and requests
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information by writing to info@jmr.news. We may need to confirm that the information is yours before responding. We will acknowledge your request, review the records involved and explain the outcome, including any specific information we must still keep. Acknowledging a deletion request does not mean deletion is already complete. You can stop report emails separately through their unsubscribe link; unsubscribing does not itself delete your account or correspondence.
